This is a week-long adventure starting in the foothills of the High Atlas mountains, moving to the Atlantic coast and finishing in vibrant and busy Marrakech. Our time in the mountains is a special experience; we stay at Terre d'Amanar, a tented camp, and there is the opportunity to try activities as varied as zip-lining, monkey bridge, petanque and archery. We also take a gentle walk in the shadow of North Africa's highest peak, Mount Toubkal, enjoying the breathtaking mountain landscape. The old fishing port of Essaouira with its long sandy beach and picturesque fishing harbour, makes for a relaxed stay. Last but by no means least, Marrakech is a maze of busy bazaars, palaces and mosques. The centrepiece is the world-famous Djemaa el Fna Square which comes alive at night with foodstalls, acrobats and storytellers.
