Kempinski Spa
Guests at the hotel can enjoy a comprehensive
range of spa treatments from one of the largest marine care centres
in Europe, as well as an array of Ayurvedic remedies. Ayurveda
restores the body's harmony and promotes good health by purifying
the body and mind. You will feel refreshed, the immune system
boosted and toxins eliminated naturally. The expertly trained staff
will give you a personal consultation before you commence your
treatments and will put together a programme that meets your
individual needs. In order to complement your treatments, the
resort's chefs will prepare Ayurvedic meals on request.
The Kempinski Spa on Gozo offers both Marine
Care and Ayurveda Treatments. Marine Therapy is similar to
Thalassotherapy and involves algae body wraps and peelings,
refreshing Vichy showers, massages in the hydrojet tub and
underwater massages for stimulating circulation. The Ayurveda
Centre is run by staff from Kerala in India, said to be the
birthplace of Ayurvedic remedies. Treatments start with a free
consultation to assess your needs. A wide range of treatment
packages are offered by the hotel to treat specific problems, for
example Body Slimming, Stress and Strain Relief. Programmes last
between 5 and 21 days.
Facilities at the spa include the warm
31-degree, oxygen rich hydro-pool, steam bath and solarium. The
indoor pool is equipped with a jacuzzi.

Programme
This programme promotes a feeling of wellbeing
and calm. It is a five-day programme that combines stone therapy
with the healing powers of water. Balneotherapy improves
circulation and restores and revitalises the body while the Vichy
shower relaxes and soothes. Stone therapy utilises smooth, hot
basalt lava stones over oiled skin and can aid emotional
stress.
Three-Day Thalgo Marine Care
Package
A good introduction to Marine Care Therapy,
you will experience a variety of different marine treatments to
detoxify and relax. Treatment starts each day with an Algae Bath
which uses marine-based products to detoxify and rebalance the
body. The Body Peeling removes dead skin cells to prepare the body
for increased absorption of products while the Blitz Shower is a
water massage that helps to decongest fatty deposits and firms skin
tissues.
Face and Body Contour Package:
Skincare Ayurveda Treatment Programme
This package combines cleansing and
exfoliating treatments to detoxify the skin with firming massages
to improve tone. The hydrojet bath is a relaxing dry massage on a
water bed while the deep-pore cleansing facial eliminates
impurities and toxins from the skin. The Finders Inchwrap improves
skin tone and reduces cellulite with the added benefit of instant
inch loss.
Body Slimming Ayurveda Treatment
Programme: Traditional Massage from Kerala
This programme improves complexion and tones
the body using special herbal facials and henna treatment depending
on individual needs. It is ideal for curing skin diseases or just
improving the overall look and feel of the skin.
