Day 1 – Arrive Beijing
Upon arrival in
Beijing you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Tonight meet
your tour leader (or local guide) for welcome drinks and a tour
briefing. Three nights NOVOTEL XINQIAO
Day 2 – Beijing
Explore Beijing’s fascinating hutongs by rickshaw, visit the
Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, the Drum Tower and watch an
exciting Kung Fu show.
Day 3 – Beijing
Visit the Great Wall at Mutianyu and toboggan down if you dare!
Day 4 - Beijing
Fly a kite at the Temple of Heaven, try your hand at traditional
Chinese Sword Play, visit the pandas at Beijing Zoo and see aquatic
wonders at the Aquarium. OVERNIGHT TRAIN
Day 5 – Xian
Cycle along the city walls and visit pagodas, mosques and the
bustling Muslim Quarter. One night BELL TOWER HOTEL
Day 6 – Xian to Guilin
See the Terracotta Warriors before catching your flight to Guilin.
One night UNIVERSAL HOTEL
Day 7 – Guilin to Yangshuo
Cruise down the Li River past beautiful limestone mountains to
Yangshuo, where the locals will teach you to paint traditional
landscapes. Two nights PARADESA RESORT
Day 8 - Yangshuo
Take a tai chi lesson and cycle through the beautiful rice
paddies.
Day 9 – Yangshuo to Shanghai
Explore the Reed Flute Caves before flying to Shanghai. Three
nights RENDEZVOUS MERRY
Day 10 – Shanghai
Take in amazing views of the Bund from atop the skyline’s most
iconic building. Explore the Bund and Yu Gardens before seeing an
incredible acrobatic performance.
Day 11 – Shanghai
Enjoy a day-trip to Zhujiajiao and visit a local ‘Children’s
Palace’ where you can try calligraphy.
Day 12 – Depart Shanghai
Today transfer from
your hotel to the airport for your onward flight.
