Masseria Torre Coccaro cookery course
The hotel holds a superb short cookery course,
which can be held at any time during a stay. It lasts just two and
a half hours, usually in the morning. First guests go to the hotel
gardens and pick some vegetables for the lesson, then with an
English speaking lady who comes from a local village, you learn how
to make 'tiella' (a local dish of rice, potatoes and mussels),
fried calzone with spicy ricotta cheese, many kinds of pasta such
as cavatelli, fricelli, orecchiette and so on plus a main course
such as lamb with 'lampascioni' sweet onions, potatoes and cherry
tomatoes. At the end of the lesson, you eat what you've cooked.
Price Euros 90 per person including lunch but
excluding drinks to be paid direct to the hotel. Minimum of two
persons required.
Fine dining at the Masseria Torre
Coccaro
Egnathia Restaurant, located under vaulted
ceilings in the old stables, serves vegetables produced in our own
farm, typical Mediterranean cuisine, and also offer alfresco dining
with view of the countryside. Opening hours are 12:30 hrs to 14:30
hrs for lunch and 20:00 to 22:00 hrs for dinner.
Pool Restaurant, located next to the swimming
pool under a pergola overlooking the swimming pool is open from
12:30 to 14:30 hrs.
The Beach Club Restaurant features gourmet
fish menu and Adriatic Sushi. Guests enjoy the gourmet masterpieces
here between 12:30 hrs and 15:00 hrs for lunch and between 20:00 to
23:00 for dinner.
