Itinerary

Day 1:

Fly from London to Bangkok. (N)

Day 2:

Arrive Bangkok and transfer to the Oriental Hotel for 2 nights. (N)

Day 3:

At leisure. (N)

Day 4:

Evening transfer to the train station and board the Eastern & Oriental Express for a 3 night journey. Gourmet dinner on board. (B, D)

Day 5:

Morning tour of the River Kwai. Return for lunch and an afternoon at leisure. Dinner is served travelling through the countryside. (B, L, D)

Day 6:

Morning in northern Malaysia, followed by a tour to colonial Penang. The rest of the day is spent travelling down the Malay Peninsula. Dinner aboard. (B, L, D)

Day 7:

After breakfast on board, travel across the Straits of Johor into Singapore. Stay at the Fullerton Hotel for 2 nights. (B)

Day 8:

At leisure in Singapore. (B)

Day 9:

Day or overnight flight to London. (B)
