Golf:
The Evian Masters Golf Club has been acclaimed as one of the
most beautiful courses in Europe, and offers the opportunity to
play in the steps of some of the world’s best players. A true golf
legend at the foot at the French Alps, the Evian Masters Golf Club
is an 18-hole, 6,054 metre course in 60 hectares of park, offering
the superb quality of a championship golf course combined with the
beauty of a location between lake and mountains.
Sports in the park:
Reached by paths of Burgundy stone direct from
the hotel, a park of 19 hectares awaits guests and offers countless
activities and facilities. The Evian Royal Sports Experience team
reserves space for guests and hires out equipment.
Pitch and putt:
5 holes of pitch and putt is an enjoyable
pursuit at Evian Royal Palace and a good step to take before
advancing on to the championship course of the Evian Masters Golf
Club.
Tennis:
Four courts grass courts of which one is
covered and one is of synthetic lawn.
Rock climbing wall:
The excellent rock wall at Evian Royal Palace
is a good place for guests to initiate themselves with climbing and
prepare for some of the more demanding natural options in the
nearby French Alps.
Archery and exhilarating
sports:
Archery, rifle shooting and squash are all
enjoyed by guests on a complimentary basis.
Outdoor activities in
nature:
The hotel offers an exceptional environment of
pure air and magnificent scenery, with an extensive spectrum of
activities available outdoors. Hiking and walking are both popular,
including the higher peaks along Via Ferrata. Mountaineering is
also possible, together with speleological exploration of
glaciers.
Watersports:
Evian Royal Sports Experience team accompanies
guests through some of the most stunning rivers in the Alps.
Options range from rafting on the French World Championship course
to a programme of canyoning and use of the hydrospeed air boat.
Sports on Lake Geneva:
On the largest lake of Western Europe guests
experience everything from force 4 winds to gentle breezes. The
lake is ideal for water-skiing (which can include lunch in a little
mediaeval village), sailing on an elegant cruiser and fishing.
Aerial sports:
Even for those looking to take to the skies
for their exhilaration, the Evian Royal Sports Experience team
provides a whole gamut of sensational experiences. From hot-air
ballooning above the park towards Mont Blanc and exploration of the
skies on a paraglide (with instructor), to a helicopter trip
(including lunch) or sky diving with an instructor, virtually
everything is possible at the Evian Royal Palace.
Winter sports:
Winter sports in the snow-capped Alps below crisp azure skies
are one of the optimum ways to experience the Evian Royal Palace.
600 miles of pistes are available to guests at just 45 minutes from
the hotel. The hotel will organise hire of Rossignol equipment.
Other possibilities include hiking and trekking on the massif of
Mont Blanc, and heli-skiing on the Italian side of Mont Blanc.
