Italian Cookery Course - Bologna
Introduction
Bologna is Italy's food capital and home to parmesan cheese,
balsamic vinegar and parma ham. Bologna is also an enchanting
location for a cooking course and holiday - with its galleries,
museums, theatres and churches comfortably providing plenty of
entertainment away from the kitchen!
Our Italian cookery course is ideal for people who love
Italian food and wine, and are as popular with single travellers,
both men and women as with couples and friends travelling
together.
They are also great birthday presents for the budding Jamie Oliver
in the family!
Venue
Stay in a classic Bologna Country ‘Palazzo.’
Our venue in Bologna is a family owned Palazzo, approximately
twenty five minutes from Bologna itself. The former stables have
been converted to offer comfortable bedrooms for guests all with
en-suite facilities.
There is a rustic feel with wooden beams, stone floors and
whitewashed walls. The extensive grounds house a charming 17th
century family chapel. The kitchen (which was formerly the laundry)
has been converted for our use, but still has a
traditional "cucina" feel- with a large open fire and marble-top
tables - perfect for making fresh tagliatelle!
