Highlights
The Freedom Trail
A walk along the two-and-a-half-mile Freedom Trail is one of the
best ways to get acquainted with Boston and to efficiently visit
the city's bounty of historic landmarks. The Trail is marked with a
painted or bricked red line that is easy to follow and signs along
the way identify each of the 16 stops.
Cheers
Located across from the Public Garden, this established Boston
bar (the former Bull & Finch pub) was the inspiration for the
popular TV sitcom Cheers. You’ll recognize it from the
outside but inside it’s completely different (and you won’t find
Norm and Cliff sitting at the end of the bar either) but a stop at
Cheers is a must for fans!
Harvard University
Founded in 1636, Harvard is the oldest university in the United
States. Some of its former graduates include six US Presidents –
John Adams, John Quincy Adams, Theodore and Franklin D. Roosevelt,
Rutherford B. Hayes, and John F. Kennedy. Harvard is situated in
Cambridge, just across the Charles River from Boston.

Visit the Samuel Adams Brewery and for a chance to sample its
award-winning beers. Experience the entire brewing process, from
start to finish. Then drink it! Enjoy the different styles of
Samuel Adams beers in the Tasting Room where, occasionally, samples
of new or extreme brews such as Samuel Adams Utopias are also
served.
Newbury Street
Newbury Street is located in the Back Bay area of Boston. It’s
the city's chic shopping address, lined with historic brownstones
that contain elegant boutiques and funky salons, trendy galleries
and a wide range of bars and restaurants.
