Outstanding snowshoe walks in the dramatic Mont Blanc region
What more dramatic setting can there be for snowshoeing than the Chamonix Valley in shadow of Mont Blanc? From our popular year-round base of the Chalet Savoy in Les Houches, we have put together a stunning series of walks amongst Europe's highest peaks. The weeks will be led by Oliver Ensor, owner of Chalet Savoy, International Mountain Leader and long term resident of Les Houches. We will explore Alpine valleys and climb to mountain plateaux and peaks, to enjoy some of the finest vistas in the Alps. On the day off you will have an option to explore the famous Mer de Glace glacier with a UIAGM guide. The excellent snow record in the region ensures a long winter season, and the tremendous variety of terrain means that we can offer both B and C graded weeks. Please see Dates and Prices for details.
