Introduction
An exciting 5 day introduction to ice and altitude diving. Enjoy
the opportunity to acquire the skills essential in the pursuit of
this fascinating and challenging medium in spectacular
surroundings
During the winter season, January to March, whydontyou is able
to offer you this amazing underwater experience. Discover this
unique opportunity to dive not only at high altitude but also under
the ice. Explore the crystal clear water and fantastic ice
formations whilst taking in the beautiful views of Austrian Alps.
Glittering peaks surround scenic Weyregg, and Lake Attersee, which,
at 23 kilometres long, is the largest lake in upper Austria. The
lake contains both fish and plant-life and has around 30 diveable
sites, including a small wreck.
This short break is an ideal introduction to cold water diving
and the perfect opportunity to gain necessary skills and experience
before going on to more challenging and remote cold water
locations. It also offers a fun filled and very different long
weekend for dive centre and clubs.
