Practical Information

Flight Information

Where holiday prices are inclusive of flights, these are usually based on a return trip departing from a London airport to the overseas destination airport. If you live outside the UK and would still like to use us to book your flights, please ask your why don’t you sales consultant.

UK Regional & Direct Flights

In many cases we will be able to book flights direct from your regional airport to the overseas destination. Please state your flight preferences at the time of making an enquiry and we will explore all the options available to you.

If you are booking your own UK regional flights to connect with flights in London, please allow a minimum connecting time of 1 hour at Gatwick and 90 minutes at Heathrow in addition to the international check-in time.

Upgrades and Airport Lounges

We can offer upgrades to premium economy, business or first class cabins where available. We are also able to offer access to a wide range of airport lounges at very competitive rates – please ask for further details.

Airport Hotels and Parking

We can offer a wide choice of UK hotels and car parking at all major UK airports.

Flight amendments

If you wish to change the date of your flight you may incur an administration fee. There may also be a fare increase if you wish to extend your stay or if you request revised travel dates. Changes made after a flight ticket is issued will normally require the purchase of a new ticket. Please note that some trips use charter flights where flight amendments are not possible.

Insurance

Please ensure that you are adequately insured for your holiday. We are able to offer both annual or single trip policies for you.

Local Payments

On some holidays you may be required to make local payments to the tour leaders/organisers. Payment is normally payable in the local destination currency. Please check details with one of our sales consultants at the time of booking.

Children’s Passports

Legislation now means that children cannot be included on their parent or guardian’s passport – they must have their own. If a child is already included on their parent’s/guardian’s passport they can travel if the passport is valid, and has at least 6 months left to run after the end of the proposed holiday.

Vaccination requirements change periodically so we advise that you check with your nearest specialist travel clinic 4-6 weeks before departure to get up-to-date information. A specialist travel clinic should also be able to advise regarding any special vaccination requirements for children.
