Trek Borneo's Kelabit Highlands:
Wildlife Borneo - Rainforest – Orangutans
Itinerary
Day 1 Arrive Miri and transfer to hotel.
Day 2 Fly to Bario on 19-seater Twin Otter and
transfer to a local guesthouse.
Day 3 A full day to explore the surroundings of
Bario, before returning to your guesthouse.
Day 4 Begin the jungle trek by walking to Camp
1 and pitching tents.
Day 5 Trek to camp 2 and pitch tents.
Day 6 Ascend Lower Peak of Batu Lawi and return
to Camp 1.
Day 7 Trek to Long Repung or Pa Dapur.
Day 8 Trek from Long Repung or Pa Dapur to
Church Camp.
Day 9 Trek from Church Camp to summit of Mt.
Murud and return to Church Camp.
Day 10 Descend to Long Repung and overnight
camp.
Day 11 Trek from Long Repung to Pa Rupai or Ba
Kelalan.
Day 12 Arrive Ba Kelalan or, if already arrived
in Ba Kelalan, a full day to explore the surrounding forest.
Day 13 Take the 4WD from Ba Kelalan to Lawas
and connect onto the afternoon flight to Miri.
